has been in existence since 1895. In May of 2001 BSI merged with Wichert Insurance Services. This merger allowed us to expand the markets we represent and enhance our technology to serve our clients. This increase in company representation and technology allows us to offer our clients competitive rates, with stable companies, in a timely manner. We now represent the following companies:

The following is a list of the local BSI insurance professionals that would provide your service:

Brad Bush is the President of BSI and is a 12-year insurance veteran. Brad holds a CPCU and AU designations. The CPCU designation is a premier professional designation of the property and casualty insurance industry. CPCU’s pass national exams on topics including insurance law, accounting, risk management and ethics. Considered to be the standard setters of the insurance industry, CPCUs have made a commitment to continuing education, and promise to place the needs of others before their own. Brad is responsible for the structure commercial insurance programs, which include the negotiation of coverages and premiums. Brad specializes in medium to large commercial risks and has the experience and knowledge to meet your insurance needs. - brad@wichert.com

Roger Perry, Assistant Vice President of Bishop-Scovell Insurance, is a 12-year insurance veteran. His industry experience has been on the Carrier side, so he brings a tremendous amount of underwriting insight to his new position at BSI. Committed to self improvement and staying in tune with industry trends he currently is working towards obtaining both a LUTCF and CIC professional designation. Roger is the consummate professional who always places the needs of his clients before his own. His primary responsibilities focus on the structuring of commercial insurance programs. Linda Sullivan is the commercial customer service representative located in Johnstown. Linda has over 16 years experience serving the needs of commercial clients. Linda is responsible for providing day-to-day services to clients such as endorsement requests, certificates of insurance, claims handling and other miscellaneous needs. Heather Tackett is responsible for providing customer service to our personal lines clients and also works with Brad on meeting the needs of group life and health customers. Heather is a 7-year veteran of BSI and is a licensed insurance agent. - heather@wichert.com

Pam BeVier is responsible for providing customer service to our personal lines clients and also places specialty bonds for our commercial clients. Pam is a 5-year veteran of BSI. Pam is a licensed insurance agent. - pam@wichert.com

In addition BSI can draw on the various talents of other Wichert Insurance services, Inc. professionals. For example, Jay Hutchison, CPCU and Rich Studenic, CPCU are located in the Wichert Insurance Cuyahoga Falls office. Jay and Rich have over 40 years of specialization including commercial claims handling experience and could become involved in large commercial claims to insure the client’s interests are protected.

BSI is networked with the other two Wichert offices in greater Columbus and two in Northern Ohio as well. This allows us to expand our services in a manner that other independent Agencies cannot. We represent over 10 major insurance companies and are positioned to meet the needs of our clients on a long-term basis.
